JioTransfer by JioCloud is a file transfer app service, which is a secure and easy to use platform to share files with your friends & family without the need of registering yourself or storing files on your cloud storage first.

The main USP of JioTransfer is the ease with which you can share large files or file formats that are not supported over email.

It creates a unique sharing link that is active for 7 days and can be sent to multiple people at once through email or directly over any media of your choice.

Open JioTransfer website and enter your email address, which is a compulsory step to start the sharing process. You can then choose which files to upload using our drag & drop functionality or selecting files by clicking on the 'Select Files' button. You can also add an optional personalized message along with the files. After uploading the files, there are 2 ways to share the link of the files uploaded:

• Click on the 'Send Email' button after entering the recipient(s) email address to whom you want to share the file. After this step, you will be prompted for a verification code which is sent to your email address. Once you verify the code, your files will start getting uploaded on our server and a unique sharing link would be sent over email to all the recipients whom you have chosen previously.
• Click on the 'Get Link' Button. After this step, you will be prompted for a verification code which is sent to your email address. Once you verify the code, your files will start getting uploaded on our server, and a unique sharing link would be shown to you. You can then copy this link and share it with your friends/family over any platform suited to you.

If you have received an email from JioTransfer consisting of a unique sharing link, click on the 'Get your files' button or the link shown below the Download Link text. Clicking on the button or link will redirect you to the JioTransfer website.

If you received a JioTransfer unique sharing link over any other media by someone, just click on the link and you will be redirected to the JioCloud website.

Once you reach the JioTransfer website, you can see all the files which were uploaded by the sender under the link. You can either choose to download specific files by selecting the dropbox against the file and clicking on the 'Download Selected' button or download all files by clicking on the 'Download All' button.

While you upload your files and create your unique file-sharing link, make sure you adhere to the following limits mentioned below:

• You can upload a maximum file size of up to 2GB per unique sharing link.
• You can upload up to 200 files per unique sharing link
• You can create or transfer a maximum of 7 unique sharing links per email address per day
• You can add a maximum of up to 5 recipient email addresses per link
• The length of the optional message is 250 characters or less

Please note that the following limits are applicable on downloading files through JioTransfer's unique sharing link:

• The unique sharing link is valid for 7 days from the time of the creation of the link.
• A maximum consolidated file size of up to 20GB can be downloaded per unique sharing link per day.
• A maximum of up to 5000 files can be downloaded per unique sharing link per day.

Photos, Videos, Audio files and Documents (Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are some common file types that you can upload using JioTransfer. JioTransfer supports more than 100 different file formats.
