In JioCloud, tags serve as a mechanism for categorizing your files. Tags are keywords that you can assign to your files—up to 10 tags per file. This allows for efficient organization and retrieval; simply search using a tag name to quickly locate the files associated with that tag.

To add a tag to your files using the JioCloud web client, please follow these steps:

  • Select the File: Choose the file to which you wish to add a tag.
  • Access More Options: Click on the "More actions" icon (represented by three dots) located in the top action bar, then select "Add Hashtag" from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter Tags: Input one or more tags as needed.
  • Save Changes: Click "Save" to apply the tags to the selected file.

Note: Tags can only be assigned to individual files, not to folders, and tags can only be created one file at a time.

To locate files associated with a specific tag name in JioCloud, please follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the search bar.
  • Input the desired tag name into the search field. You will receive search suggestions that match the tag name (if available).
  • Click on the appropriate tag name from the suggestions. This action will display all files associated with that tag.
