Why are my files not uploading to JioAICloud in the background on Android, even though I have enabled the backup option in settings?
To ensure your files are automatically uploaded in the background, you need to allow JioAICloud to use data in the background. Otherwise, backups will only occur when the JioAICloud app is actively open on your phone.
For Stock Android Devices (e.g., Pixel):
Open Android Settings on your phone.
Navigate to 'Network & internet'.
Tap on 'Data usage' and then 'Data saver'.
If 'Data Saver' is off, no further action is needed.
If 'Data Saver' is on, proceed to the next step.
Tap on 'Unrestricted data access'.
Scroll down and toggle on 'JioAICloud'.
For Samsung Devices:
Open Android Settings on your phone.
Go to 'Connections'.
Click on 'Data usage'.
Select 'Wi-Fi data usage'.
Choose the JioAICloud app.
Enable 'Allow background data usage' for JioAICloud.
For Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco Devices (Android 10, 11, and 12):
