File Upload and Auto Backup

Why are my files not getting uploaded on JioCloud using mobile data on Android?

If you are experiencing issues uploading files to JioCloud while using mobile data, it may be due to the data saver mode being enabled. Data saver mode restricts data consumption beyond a specified limit, which can hinder file uploads. To ensure JioCloud operates smoothly, you can enable unrestricted data usage for the app, even when data saver mode is active.

For devices running stock Android (e.g., Pixel devices):

  • Long-press the JioCloud app icon and select 'App info'.
  • Tap on 'Mobile data & Wi-Fi'.
  • Toggle on 'Unrestricted data usage'.

For Samsung devices:

  • Open the Android Settings on your phone.
  • Navigate to 'Connections'.
  • Select 'Data usage'.
  • Disable 'Data saver mode'.

For Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices (Android 10, 11, and 12):

  • Open the 'Security' app.
  • Tap on the 'Data Usage' (water drop) button.
  • Tap on the 'Settings' button in the upper right corner.
  • Navigate to 'Mobile data limit'.
  • Tap on 'Peak data limit'.
  •  Enter '0' and select 'OK'.
