JioCloud might face difficulties uploading media files when data saver mode is 'ON'  as it restricts data consumption beyond the selected limit. You can enable unrestricted data usage for JioCloud, so that the app functions normally even with data saver mode.

If you have a device which is running on stock Android like Pixel devices, please follow the below steps to enable unrestricted data usage:

  • Long-tap on the JioCloud app icon and go to the app info menu.
  • Tap on the 'Mobile data & Wi-Fi'  option.
  • Turn on the toggle for 'Unrestricted data usage' .

If you have a Samsung device, please follow the below steps to enable unrestricted data usage limit:

  • Open Android Settings on your phone.
  • Go to 'Connections' .
  • Click on 'Data usage' .
  • Turn off the 'Data saver mode'

Similarly for Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices with Android 10, 11, and 12, please follow the below steps to enable unrestricted data usage limit:

  • Open the 'Security'  app.
  • Tap on 'Data Usage'  (Water drop) button.
  • Tap on the 'Settings'  button in the upper right corner.
  • Go to 'Mobile data limit' .
  • Tap 'Peak data limit' .
  • Enter 0, and select OK.
