How do I disable Battery Optimization for JioCloud on Android?

Enabling battery optimization for JioCloud on Android may restrict its background upload feature, as Android OS limits app operations in the background to conserve battery life. To ensure seamless background backup of your files, it's essential to disable battery optimization for JioCloud on your Android device.

For Stock Android Devices (e.g., Pixel):

  • Open Settings on your Android phone.
  • Search for ‘Device care’ or ‘Battery’.
  • Navigate to ‘Battery Optimization’.
  • Locate and select JioCloud from the list of apps.
  • Choose ‘Don't Optimize’.
  • Tap ‘Done’ to save the settings.

For Samsung Devices:

  • Open Settings on your Android phone.
  • Search for 'Battery and device care'.
  • Tap on 'Battery'.
  • Select 'Background usage limits'.
  • Choose 'Never sleeping apps'.
  • Tap the ‘+’ (plus sign).
  • Select JioCloud from the list.
  •  Click ‘Add’ to save the settings.

For Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco Devices (Android 10, 11, and 12):
