Yes, you can verify the resolution of your files post-upload. Simply access the file details in your account to confirm that the resolution remains unchanged.


Our system is built to handle data uploads without altering the resolution or quality. The files are transferred in their original state, ensuring that no quality loss occurs.


Any content uploaded to JioCloud remains securely stored until you choose to delete it. If you are unable to view your content on JioCloud, please consider the following steps:

  • Ensure that you are logged in with the correct account.
  • Close the app and relaunch it to allow for content synchronization from the server.
  • Visit the JioCloud website, log in with your credentials, and verify if your content is visible there.
  • Try logging in using your verified email address and OTP for further access.


Please note that your JioCloud files are stored in the same folders where you have uploaded them. However, 'My Files' screen has Photos, Videos, Audio, Documents and Offline files sections which are just filters based on file type. 
To view your folders, go to 'My Files' -> 'All Files' screen, and click on the desired folder to view the files.

Yes, you can directly view PDF files using the JioCloud app. However, to open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files, you will need to use a third-party app such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Files deleted from JioCloud are initially moved to the Trash, where they remain for 45 days before being permanently deleted. To recover deleted items from the Trash, follow these steps:

On the JioCloud App:

  • Navigate to 'Storage' and then click on 'View Trash'.
  • Select the items you wish to recover and click on 'Restore'. You can also choose 'Restore All' to recover all files at once.

On JioCloud Website(www.jiocloud.com):

  • Access the left menu and click on 'Trash'.
  • Select the files you want to restore and click on 'Restore'.

Please Note: Restored files will be returned to their original locations.

Files deleted from JioCloud are initially moved to the Trash, where they remain for 45 days before being permanently deleted. To permanently delete a file before the 45-day retention period ends, follow these steps:

  • Open the JioCloud app and navigate to 'Storage' -> 'View Trash,' or select 'Trash' from the left menu on JioCloud.com.
  • Select the specific file you wish to delete or use 'Select all' to choose multiple files.
  • Click on the options menu and select 'Delete forever' to permanently remove the files.

Please note that files deleted from the Trash cannot be restored.
