Uploaded photos on your JioCloud account may look different because of 2 reasons:

  1. JioCloud app provides 2 settings for users to backup photos- ‘High’ Quality and ‘Original’ Quality. Users can select any of the 2 settings. In case of high quality backup, your photos are compressed (to max. resolution of 2048*2048) by app while backing up to save your JioCloud storage space. High quality photos are good for viewing on mobile devices. If you don’t want to back-up in High quality but in original quality, you can change your backup setting to ‘Original’ quality.
  2. JioCloud app resizes uploaded photos on server to improve viewing experience across different screen sizes for optimum viewing experience. Your original photo is always kept safely on JioCloud which is used when you download a photo or share it.

Please Note: Manually uploaded photos are always uploaded in original quality. Also, when you download a file to your device, it is always downloaded in the same original quality in which it was uploaded.
